Exciting news: Hòfi Mango Park reopening announced 11-11-2024!

Comedian and entrepreneur Jandino Asporaat has announced on his Facebook page that the beloved Hòfi Mango Park in Curaçao will reopen to the public on November 11, 2024 (11-11-2024).

Hòfi Mango Park Curaçao

The park, a favorite among locals and tourists alike, was closed due to severe damage from excessive rainfall on May 4, 2024. Since then, Jandino and his team have been hard at work restoring the park, with significant international and local interest in the project. In his announcement, Jandino shared that the bridges are being repaired and new paths are being constructed to enhance the visitor experience.

Hòfi Mango Park is known for its rich history and natural beauty. Established as a plantation in 1707, the park features a historic sugar mill, the only one of its kind in the Caribbean, and a thousand-year-old mango forest. Visitors can explore the cactus garden, the colorful Plaza of Love, and enjoy breathtaking views from the hilltop art installation, “The Hands of God,” which offers a stunning panorama of the Christoffelberg.

Kultura Kòrsou

While the full reopening is set for November, the park’s restaurant, Kultura Kòrsou, remains open. The restaurant, led by chef Willy Balentina, offers a delightful menu featuring local fish and goat soup, goat ribs glazed with cinnamon and cognac, and mango kesio.

Fans are eagerly anticipating the reopening, and Agritours wishes Jandino and his team the best of luck with the preparations.

Stay tuned for more updates and mark your calendars for 11-11-2024!
