What is the goal?
Using the Foundations for Farming method, young people learn how to achieve a successful harvest on a small plot of just
624 m². This enables them to create food security for a family of six and combat poverty. The program also encourages entrepreneurship and inspires youth to make a positive impact in their communities.
What will the funds be used for?
The €1,000 raised through the Seeds of Hope project will support agricultural training for Curaçao’s youth. These sessions, led by Tree of Life, leverage the proven Foundations for Farming techniques.
The funds will be used specifically to train young people in sustainable farming methods and provide them with the tools to start farming immediately.
What does this mean for the future?
This project provides young people in Curaçao with a sustainable way to become entrepreneurs and gain more financial means. By acquiring skills and knowledge, they can build self-sufficient lives and restore balance with nature. Moreover, they inspire others in their communities to take steps toward sustainable agriculture.
